In 1926 Farmall Works begins production in Rock Island, IL solely to produce Farmall designs. Production of Farmall and International brand tractors would continue until the purchase of IHC by Tenneco in 1985. By 1930, the 100,000th Farmall was produced and in 1974, the 5 millionth IHC tractor was produced here (an International Farmall 1066)
